Job Description

1. Windows System Administration & Operations

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and Windows services
• Monitor system performance and ensure system stability and uptime
• Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management using enterprise tools

2. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and outages
• Monitor system health using tools like Event Viewer, PerfMon, and monitoring platforms
• Optimize server performance, storage, and network configurations

3. Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell (mandatory) and other scripting tools
• Automate tasks such as provisioning, patching, configuration, and reporting
• Implement configuration management and automation frameworks where applicable

4. Security & Hardening

• Implement Windows security best practices and system hardening
• Manage identity, access control, and authentication mechanisms
• Apply security patches and vulnerability remediation measures
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and policies

5. Cloud & Infrastructure Integration

• Support Windows workloads in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Manage hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud systems
• Work with cloud-native tools for backup, recovery, and scalability

6. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Management

• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Ensure business continuity through DR planning and testing
• Maintain system resilience and data protection standards

7. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with DevOps, security, network, and application teams
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system architecture
• Provide guidance on Windows best practices and operational standards
