This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2+ years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time Responsibilities: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user journey mapping to understand user needs and behaviors.
Analyse research data to gain insights and inform design decisions, ensuring user-centric solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs to communicate design ideas effectively.
Develop low and high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and feedback.
Design intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented as intended, maintaining consistency across platforms.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure designs meet project requirements and business goals.
Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and gather user feedback.
Iterate on designs based on user testing results and feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
Ensure adherence to design guidelines and best practices across all touchpoints.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to keep designs fresh, modern, and user-focused.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the team and organization.
Requirements: : Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of usability testing methods and tools (e.
g., Hotjar, UserTesting).
Experience with accessibility standards and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
