Assistant Recruitment Manager

The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Recruitment Manager to join our Egypt office, supporting recruitment delivery across Egypt and the wider MEA Region.

This role plays a critical part in identifying, attracting and securing high-quality talent across complex, fast-paced programmes. You will partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, ensuring recruitment is delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with business priorities.

Based in Egypt, you will contribute to both immediate hiring needs and longer-term talent pipelining, helping Mace continue to attract and retain the best people in the market.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Proactively source and identify high-calibre candidates aligned to business requirements.
• Manage candidate screening, shortlisting and interview processes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Partner with hiring managers to support the full recruitment lifecycle, providing guidance and driving timely decisions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current, future and bid-related hiring needs.
• Utilise a range of sourcing methods including social media, talent platforms, and internal systems.
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate and compliant candidate data within the applicant tracking system and recruitment tools.
• Support the creation and review of compelling job adverts for the external market.
• Work within Mace governance, compliance and approval processes, ensuring all hiring activity meets required standards.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• Relevant degree qualification.
• Proven recruitment experience, including screening, interviewing and offer management.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
• Experience delivering end-to-end hiring in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional network of candidates across sectors of expertise.
• Strong stakeholder and time management skills.
• Ability to source and assess talent across technical or project-based roles.
• A proactive, organised and delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in construction, consultancy or project management sectors is preferred.
• Regional experience based on region.
