Job description

Essential duties and Responsibilities (others may be assigned)
1- Management
Determine on a monthly basis an accurate production forecast for all running projects by coordinating with respective Operation Managers and cross checking with the customer, taking feedbacks from site, analyzing construction status, following-up stock of couplers at site and incoming deliveries.
Coordinate with project sites on a frequent and regular basis to ensure the production teams have proper support and resources to carry out their work properly and monitor that assembly of couplers at site is done in the right way, by ensuring regular induction training to client by regional team and submission of training report to clients.
Taking feedback from key persons of each project organization on a regular and frequent basis to monitor customer’s satisfaction regarding Dextra products and operations, request all useful information likely to improve our activities, attend complaints and provide solutions.
Monitor daily actual site expenses, compare with approved budget and analyze variances if any.
Ensure implementation of company procedure manuals to streamline process flows and ensure proper understanding and strict compliance to them.
Organize weekly inter department meeting with Purchase, Planning on daily basis to ensure proper coordination, get feedbacks from site activities, propose actions against problems met and provide work instructions.
Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
2- Production and quality
Coordinate manufacturing activities to obtain optimum production and utilization/allocation of manpower and equipments.
Monitor and optimize tool life as well as use of consumables.
Ensure production and quality control standards as well as delivery commitment within established production cost (standard cost).
Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, highlight major variances and suggest corrective actions for approval.
Review and analyze operations related reports and direct the resolution of production and QC problems as all as well as maintenance problems whenever possible.
Make sure that quantity of threads manufactured at site does not exceed the quantity stated in work orders as well as two times the quantity of couplers supplied.
Ensure strict application of Dextra Bar end preparation manual.
Ensure strict adherence to customer’s safety rules and corporate safety policy.
3- Inventories
Monitor inventories of tools and consumables as well as appropriate min/max stock levels.
Supervise the dispatch of tools and consumables from store to project sites and tracking of returning of old toolings/spare parts back to factory from all sites.
Participate to monthly stock taking process following accounting department procedure.
4- Maintenance
Plan & Ensure strict application of the preventive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with maintenance team for the planning of equipment servicing as well as major preventive maintenance actions.
5- Coordination with other departments
Keep regular and friendly communication as well as sharing of information between all functions of the company.
Investigate on coupler application at site and communicate any lack of use to sales team if any.
Ensure all work related to submission of threading invoice, acknowledgement from clients & provide efforts for collection of payments
Hand over monthly approved daily production reports to accounting team for billing purpose.
6- Reporting
Communicate the daily production reports by collecting and consolidating data available in the production reports received from sites; ensure that those reports are communicated timely through the right communication channels.
Record the attendance at site daily and communicate related report on a weekly basis.
Record weekly stock of couplers at customer’s project site and communicate related data to sales team.
Record the life of used tools on a frequent basis by referring to the tools cards received from site and communicate the tool life follow-up file on request.
Consolidate and communicate the actual production of threads on a monthly basis.
Consolidate and communicate the consumption reports on a monthly basis.
Any other documents related to job duties and responsibilities like thread reconciliation, Threads vs Couplers, Threads vs Couplers vs WO vs Invoice etc.
Assist in cycle counting and stock counting
Maintain pull test records
Daily up dation of Threads Production Report on Hard Board at HO
Maintain gauges calibration record
