Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commis II - Bakery to join our culinary team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior bakers to prepare, bake, and finish a variety of baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety. You will be responsible for supporting daily bakery operations and contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment where precision and efficiency are valued.


  • Prepare baking ingredients by measuring, mixing, and combining components according to established recipes and specifications
  • Operate bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofing units, while adhering to safety protocols
  • Assist in the production of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results and prevent product loss
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
  • Support senior bakers with advanced baking tasks and learn new techniques to develop professional skills
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting stock levels
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production schedules and customer orders
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and make adjustments as needed

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in basic baking techniques and fundamental pastry preparation methods
  • Knowledge of bakery ingredients, their properties, and how they interact in baking processes
