1. Category Strategy & Cost Savings

  • Design and implement global category management strategies across core spend pillars (including IT, Telecom, Facilities, and Corporate Services) to drive measurable bottom-line savings.

  • Analyze macro spend data, market benchmarks, and internal demand patterns to identify efficiency improvements and eliminate direct and indirect corporate waste.

  • Evaluate and identify purchasing cooperatives or alternative supplier models that deliver better financial value than existing agreements.

  • Oversee high-complexity Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) frameworks to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.

2. Team Management & Upskilling

  • Manage, mentor, and support a global team of Procurement Partners and Managers, driving accountability for daily sourcing deliverables and targets.

  • Coach the team on advanced negotiation tactics, commercial contract reviews, and cost analysis to elevate the department's overall execution capability.

  • Ensure the team is executing accurate and timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts in accordance with company compliance policies.

3. Contract Negotiation & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Lead and support high-stakes contract commercial term negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, and risk mitigation.

  • Collaborate closely with the Facilities, IT, and Finance teams to review agreements near expiration, prepare for new bids, and streamline the procurement lifecycle.

  • Maintain absolute alignment with ethical procurement standards and enforce corporate compliance across all managed categories.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive Corporate procurement and strategic sourcing experience.

  • Category Expertise: Demonstrated track record of developing global category strategies that resulted in significant, verifiable financial savings.

  • Negotiation & Analytics: Advanced negotiation skills and financial acumen, with expert-level command of spreadsheet architecture (Advanced Excel) to evaluate complex bid results and cost analyses.

  • Sourcing Process: Deep knowledge of the overall procurement lifecycle and end-to-end management of multi-vendor RFx operations.

Preferred / Ideal Qualifications:

  • Industry Focus: Procurement leadership experience within the BPO, technology, or global professional services sectors.

  • Enterprise ERP: Direct experience leveraging data and workflows within Oracle ERP or similar enterprise sourcing platforms.

  • Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS) are preferred.
