Job Description

  • Provide frontline PC and server troubleshooting and resolve IT issues for end users in a timely manner
  • Modify configurations, utilities, and software default settings to optimize system performance
  • Support and administer Windows Servers, ensuring stability and reliability across the infrastructure
  • Backup and optimize databases to maintain data integrity and system efficiency
  • Perform regular system health checks and capacity studies to ensure optimum performance of servers and network infrastructure
  • Provide in-house guest IT-related troubleshooting and technical support
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software; assist with PC setup, IT system configuration, and access provisioning for onboarding of new users
  • Monitor and maintain IT security protocols, access controls, and user permissions to protect company data and systems
  • Document IT issues, resolutions, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for reference and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with external vendors and manage IT service contracts to ensure quality support and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA), Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a related IT role.
  • Proven expertise in Windows Server administration, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of PC and server troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics, and network infrastructure support.
  • Experience with database backup, recovery, and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IT security protocols, access control management, and user permission administration.
  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive knowledge bases and technical records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide effective technical support to end users.
