Could you be the full-time N&T Network Designer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and results-driven teammates.
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) specifications that align with the System Delivery Plan, ensuring seamless deployment and integration. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), contribute to technical reviews, support deployment activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of BTN design specifications (Preliminary and Detailed Design), but also contribute to addressing plans and technical room surveys.
We’ll look to you for:
Elaborating N&T BTN Design specifications in line with engineering rules and best practices
Ensuring adherence to quality processes and promoting ethical conduct
Minimizing deployment costs, lead times, and risks through efficient design
Developing BTN requirements with a focus on dimensioning, especially in IP-MPLS network and cybersecurity
Supporting functional validation and troubleshooting tasks
Preparing and executing design reviews and managing technical gaps

BE/Master’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience
Work experience in IP-MPLS solutions (experience with Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent IP-MPLS portfolio is highly preferred)
Proven experience in LAN/WAN design and deployment of GbEthernet
Knowledge of RFC protocols, IP routing, QoS, and cybersecurity (802.1x, Radius, Firewall)
Familiarity with monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and general IP techniques
Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent)
Experience with fiber deployments and troubleshooting (desirable)
Knowledge of major telco suppliers like Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Huawei, etc.
