We are looking for SAP BTP & CAP Solution Architect. Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they have to understand what drives our customers. What is the environment? You’ll make a difference by: • Designing and governing enterprise-grade SAP BTP solution architectures for side-by-side extensions, process automation, integrations, and cloud-native applications. • Defining the overall SAP BTP strategy aligned with business and enterprise architecture goals. • Architecting scalable, secure, and resilient SAP landscapes across hybrid and cloud environments. • Leading the architecture and implementation of SAP CAP, RAP, and ABAP-based solutions. • Driving adoption of SAP Integration Suite and establish enterprise integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP applications. • Designing and implementing AI-assisted business applications by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with SAP applications. • Defining architecture standards for APIs, OData, REST, SOAP services, RFCs, IDocs, and event-driven communication. • Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, cutover, and production support. • Reviewing solution designs, custom developments, technical specifications, and code to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices. • Driving DevOps adoption by establishing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and deployment strategies. • Mentoring technical teams, conduct architecture reviews, and promote engineering excellence across projects. • Staying current with SAP's technology roadmap, cloud innovations, and AI advancements to continuously enhance enterprise solutions. Job requirements/ skills: • 9-18 years of SAP technical experience with significant experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale SAP solution architectures. • Strong expertise in: SAP BTP, SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), ABAP and ABAP OO, SAP HANA Cloud. • Extensive experience with SAP Integration Suite including API Management, Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, and Advanced Event Mesh. • Strong understanding of cloud-native application architecture, microservices, and event-driven design patterns. • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. • Strong knowledge of SAP Build portfolio including Build Apps, Build Process Automation, and Build Work Zone. • Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development, Automated testing, Version control, and Release management. • Hands-on knowledge of SAP AI technologies including SAP AI Foundation, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Joule, Joule Studio, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. • Experience integrating LLMs and AI services into SAP applications. • Strong understanding of SAP security architecture including IAS, IPS, OAuth, SAML, Identity Federation, and Single Sign-On. • Experience defining enterprise integration standards using OData, REST, SOAP, RFC, IDocs, and asynchronous messaging. • Knowledge of infrastructure planning including landscape topology, sizing, network connectivity, high availability, disaster recovery, and security architecture. • Experience working with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes-based deployment models is desirable. • Candidates should possess a good understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes including: Procure to Pay (P2P), Lead to Cash (L2C), Design to Operate (D2O), and Record to Report (R2R).
