In this position as a Systems Engineering Professiona l, you will work as part of a cross-functional organization with large and diverse teams, acting in a technical leadership role for Image Quality in PET modality. A deep understanding of clinical and system level use cases, Image Quality analysis and Workflows is needed to develop high-value and novel customer solutions. A strong background in Medical Imaging is required to translate new features into system functionality. Responsibilities: Drive the definition, specification, technical risk management, integration, test strategy, and validation of a product feature in close cooperation with the project team. Develop novel algorithms and execute testing to assess image quality and performance. Investigate and resolve customer issues related to system image quality or performance. Conduct comprehensive testing of PET-CT imaging systems to evaluate image quality parameters such as spatial resolution, contrast, noise characteristics, and uniformity. Develop test protocols and procedures for assessing image quality based on industry standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze test results using statistical methods and imaging metrics to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including system engineers, physicists, radiologists, and software developers to elicit requirements, troubleshoot issues and optimize imaging protocols. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations for system enhancements or modifications. Qualifications : PhD or Master's in Biomedical or Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field. Proven experience in medical imaging systems and experience in PET-CT or SPECT-CT technology would be an advantage. Proficiency in statistical analysis and Image analysis tools. Experience with 510K medical devices or other highly regulated environments will be an added advantage. Leadership skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to convey ideas and concepts to a wide range of international audiences including the clinical community, product management, and other engineers. A team player with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and the ability to also work autonomously. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
