Overview As Video Editor, we will oversee creating assets in collaboration with the animation, production, adaptation, and design teams. Design files are brought to life, and high-quality, original motion graphic content that combines flawlessly with Digital social platform solutions is delivered. HTML, Banners, Social media videos, static, video adaptation and production, and storytelling are some examples. Proficiency in using industry-standard image editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, After effects, Animate CC, Basic HTML, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of retouching techniques, color correction, masking, and image manipulation. Creativity: The capacity to use original thought and innovative problem-solving when dealing with challenging editing jobs. Time management: In a hectic work environment, it's critical to effectively manage time and meet deadlines. It should be able to appropriately prioritize jobs and assignee projects, as well as QA and deliver projects on time. Communication Skills Understanding project needs, incorporating input, and maintaining customer satisfaction all depend on effective communication and collaboration with clients, photographers, and co-workers. Responsibilities Visual Effects: Adding visual effects and compositing techniques to motion design projects to improve their visual impact. Adding realistic simulations, color grading, and other post-production improvements may fall under this category. Designing aesthetically appealing and dynamic animations, visual effects, and motion graphics. To successfully convey messages or storylines, this includes creating and animating typography, logos, images, and other graphic components. Video editing involves combining and editing unedited footage, animations, and special effects to produce coherent and engaging videos. This entails organizing and cutting video segments, as well as timing adjustments, transitions, and audio integration. Quality Control: delivered the projects with a high standard of quality. This includes conducting extensive quality checks to ensure that photographs have been appropriately edited, are visually appealing, and meet the client's or company's criteria. Storyboarding is the process of planning and visualizing the order of scenes and motion for movies or animations by creating visual storyboards or animatics. Storyboarding aids in establishing the general framework. Motion Design Techniques: Using a variety of motion design techniques to create immersive and engaging experiences, such as kinetic typography, parallax scrolling, motion tracking. Using industry-standard motion design software, such as Animate cc, Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator(basic), Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier or other animation and compositing tools, with skill. Having experience with video editing applications like Adobe Premiere Pro Collaboration and communication: Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as creative directors, designers, animators, and clients, to comprehend project requirements and meet creative goals. To ensure project success, effective communication, and teamwork are crucial. Time and project management involve overseeing several tasks at once and following project schedules. Task planning and organization, prioritization, and efficient time management are all part of this. Training and mentoring: Experienced video editors can serve as mentors to junior editors or assistants, providing guidance and support. They may lead training sessions, provide industry information, and assist in the development of their team members' talents. Keeping up with technology and industry trends: Video editors in managerial roles must keep up with the latest editing software, techniques, and industry trends. They should be able to make informed decisions about using new technology or novel ways to improve the overall quality of the team's work. Work closely with asset management team/ asset management of incoming and outgoing deliveries (master assets, open files, adapts, etc). Ensure proper taxonomy for all the assets.
