Job description

This is a short, high-impact engagement for someone who wants to make a visible, well-defined contribution to a fast-scaling hospitality business without the commitment of a permanent role. You will work directly with the Head of Finance and engage with stakeholders across our outlets, leaving behind a clear set of requirements that shapes how our POS and financial systems work for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Briefing & Stakeholder Mapping

  • Receive an initial briefing of 2 to 3 hours from the Head of Finance covering business context, current systems, and key stakeholders.

  • Map the full set of relevant stakeholders across food and beverage outlets, Finance, and IT.

  • Develop a structured plan for requirements-gathering sessions, sequencing stakeholders logically and efficiently across the engagement timeline.

  1. Requirements Gathering

  • Independently plan and run requirements-gathering sessions with the KOFISI team and select external stakeholders.

  • Map current Micros POS workflows across food and beverage outlets, and define the desired future-state workflows.

  • Identify integration points and dependencies between Micros POS and financial software, likely NetSuite, including data flows, reconciliation needs, and reporting requirements.

  • Reconcile competing or conflicting requirements across different stakeholder groups, escalating where resolution requires Head of Finance input.

  1. Documentation & Risk Management

  • Document clear, structured requirements that engineering and implementation teams can act on without ambiguity.

  • Flag risks, gaps, or conflicting requirements as they emerge during the engagement, rather than holding them until the final presentation.

  • Maintain a running log of open questions, decisions needed, and stakeholder sign-offs throughout the engagement.

  1. Synthesis & Presentation

  • Synthesize requirements and stakeholder input into a coherent set of findings and recommendations.

  • Prepare and deliver a 60 to 90 minute presentation of findings and recommendations to the Head of Finance and other senior stakeholders.

  • Hand over final documentation in a structured format ready for engineering and implementation teams to act on.

Requirements

Qualification & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with POS, retail, or hospitality systems.

  • Self-Direction: Strong, self-directed requirements-gathering skills, with minimal need for ongoing oversight after an initial briefing.

  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups and reconciling competing needs.
