Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, be proficient in Oracle ERP and OCEAN systems, and be available to join immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance activities.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Oracle ERP and OCEAN systems.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.
  • Support inventory and cost accounting activities where applicable.
  • Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.


Skills

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and OCEAN systems.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Must be available for immediate joining.
