Job Title: Planning & S&OP Manager

Department: Supply Chain

Reports To: Supply Chain Director / Operations Director

Job Purpose

Responsible for leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, demand planning, inventory management, procurement planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory, cost, and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Develop demand forecasts using historical data, sales trends, and business insights.
  • Manage inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Coordinate supply planning with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee purchasing planning for food, non-food items, equipment, and operational supplies.
  • Monitor inventory performance and implement initiatives to reduce stock shortages and obsolete inventory.
  • Develop and track Supply Chain KPIs, including inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, service level, and stock availability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement teams to align business objectives.
  • Prepare executive reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Support new store openings by planning equipment, inventory, and procurement requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage supplier planning activities and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory costs and operational performance.
  • Coach and develop planning team members while monitoring departmental KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain procedures.
  • Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal planning activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, or S&OP.
  • Experience in FMCG, Retail, QSR, or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Strong knowledge of S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement Planning, and Forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
