Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with company policies.
• Handle customer and supplier balances.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Lead the accounting side of Odoo ERP implementation.
• Configure and improve Odoo Accounting workflows.
• Test new accounting features and coordinate with the Odoo implementation partner.
• Train internal users on Odoo accounting processes.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Odoo Accounting experience (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Bank Reconciliation
• Financial Reporting
• Cost Accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP implementation is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Knowledge of internal controls and financial processes.
• Experience coordinating with Odoo developers or implementation partners.
