Reporting to the Sustainability, ESG & CSR Department, the Climate Entity Manager will contribute to the definition, management, and deployment of the climate agenda within the Group's sustainability strategy, in line with the Group's strategic directions and best national and international practices in sustainable finance and climate transition.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
Managing the Group's climate initiative
•Translate and manage climate/ESG action plans in line with the strategy defined by the Department;
•Ensure the integration of climate/ESG issues into the activities and projects of the Group's various entities;
•Supervise and coordinate initiatives related to climate transition and sustainable finance;
•Produce the analyses, indicators, and dashboards necessary for monitoring climate and ESG commitments;
•Formulate recommendations and propose areas for improvement on climate and ESG issues.
Climate reporting and analysis
•Oversee the collection, consolidation, and validation of climate/ESG data;
•Manage the preparation of climate/ESG reports and contribute to extra-financial publications;
•Coordinate analyses related to climate risks and transition scenarios, as well as exposure to non-financial risks, in collaboration with the Group's entities;
•Ensure compliance of systems with national and international frameworks and standards;
•Monitor regulatory and technical developments related to climate, ESG, and sustainable finance.
Cross-functional coordination and entity support
•Facilitate coordination with internal and external stakeholders on climate issues;
•Support entities in deploying climate systems and best practices;
•Raise employee awareness of climate issues and the Group's ESG commitments;
•Represent the Department in committees, working groups, and technical exchanges related to climate issues.
What we are looking for:
•Higher education degree (Bac+5), from a top engineering school, business school, or university, with a specialization in sustainable development, climate, ESG, or sustainable finance;
•Approximately 8 years of professional experience in areas related to climate, sustainability, ESG, sustainable finance, or climate risk management, ideally within a financial institution, public body, consulting firm, or large corporation.
What you will bring:
•Mastery of climate and ESG frameworks and standards;
•Good knowledge of carbon footprint measurement and climate/ESG reporting methodologies;
•Knowledge of sustainable finance, responsible investment, and energy transition issues;
•Mastery of principles for analyzing climate risks and transition scenarios;
•Ability to manage strategic and cross-functional projects;
•Proficiency in analysis, reporting, and presentation tools;
•Excellent writing and analytical skills
