Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead the growth and commercial performance of a drilling services business unit based in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key client relationships, overseeing business development activities, and supporting the overall profitability and operational success of the drilling division.

Required Profile:
Overall 15-20 years maximum career experience. Anything higher will be deemed too senior for the role's needs.Must have proven experience within the drilling industry, ideally gained through hands-on operational, technical, maintenance, servicing, or commercial roles.Must have progressed in career up to Sales Manager or Account Manager or BDM where the focus and responsibilities shifted to technical sales.Strong understanding of drilling rigs, drilling equipment, drill pipes, and related services.Experience with rig maintenance, inspection, refurbishment, repair, or servicing activities is highly desirable (e.g., CAT III Inspection, CAT IV Refurbishment).Exposure to onshore and/or offshore drilling operations, preferably within the Middle East.Commercially minded with a solid understanding of business performance metrics, cash flow management, and P&L responsibility.Strong client-facing, relationship management, and leadership capabilities.Capable of managing both business development initiatives and day-to-day business operations.
