Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Civil Engineer to join our award-winning team in Doha, Qatar.


This critical role will support in infrastructure and building construction projects, preferably including Kahramaa or similar utility projects.


We envisage success in this role to include:


  • Supervising civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality plans.
  • Monitoring contractor and subcontractor performance, including HSE, QA/QC, and progress.
  • Reviewing and approving, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, IRs, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensuring proper inspection, testing, approval, and documentation, with clear records of conformance/non-conformance.
  • Identifying, reporting, and resolving technical issues and non-conformities, including implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensuring all materials, works, and testing equipment meet required standards and calibration requirements.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, process) to ensure design compatibility and interface alignment.
  • Supporting subcontractor evaluation, audits, and quality system verification.
  • Maintaining complete and traceable records of inspections, tests, approvals, and non-conformities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with over 10 years of experience in water infrastructure, pumping stations, and road construction works.


Furthermore, you should demonstrate:


  • Hands-on experience in dewatering systems and temporary works.
  • Experience in design review and coordination, including identification of discrepancies and constructability issues.
  • Familiarity with QCS, Kahramaa specifications, and international standards.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills, with ability to clearly present technical issues and solutions.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and decision-making under site conditions.
  • Skilled in preparing draft progress and contractual letters.
