Job description

  • Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
  • Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle tendering processes, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Review contract documents in accordance with FIDIC and Qatar construction standards.
  • Prepare interim payment applications, progress valuations, and client billing submissions.
  • Evaluate and process subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and timelines.
  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate variation orders and contractual claims.
  • Coordinate with consultants, project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients.
  • Conduct site measurements and verify completed work progress for payment certification.
  • Maintain proper documentation for contracts, invoices, change orders, and commercial reports.
  • Assist in procurement planning and material cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar construction regulations, company procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Support project planning by providing commercial and contractual advice to management.
  • Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost reports, and project financial updates.
  • Monitor project risks related to cost, delays, and contractual matters and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants regarding commercial issues and payment approvals.
  • Ensure timely preparation and settlement of final accounts upon project completion.
