Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer with 12+ years of experience in the construction industry, including mandatory experience on high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, low-current systems, fire alarm, grounding, and lightning protection.
  • Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements before execution.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in electrical building construction.
  • Mandatory experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, and low-current systems.
  • Experience in testing, commissioning, and system handover.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and single-line diagrams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit MEP and Primavera P6 is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of international standards (IEC, NFPA) and Saudi building regulations.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
