Position: Lifting Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing, reviewing, and controlling all lifting operations from a safety and technical perspective. The role ensures all lifting activities are planned, risk-assessed, and executed safely in compliance with project HSE requirements, international lifting standards, and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and approve lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Ensure all lifting operations comply with approved procedures, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review crane capacities, load charts, lifting accessories, and critical lifting requirements.
  • Conduct lifting studies and provide technical guidance for complex lifting activities.
  • Monitor crane operations, rigging activities, and lifting teams on site.
  • Conduct inspections of cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories to ensure validity and compliance.
  • Support lifting supervisors and site teams during critical lifts.
  • Ensure lifting permits, certifications, and inspection records are maintained.
  • Participate in lifting audits, investigations, and safety improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with construction, PMV, and HSE teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities.
