Senior Engineering Manager I

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead and oversee Engineering Site Services, Project Management and Designing team across Saudi Arabia. This position plays a crucial role in fostering operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and facilitating business growth within the engineering services sector. The ideal candidate must have good leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and a history of successfully managing engineering teams in electrical power engineering domain.

As a Senior Engineering Manager , a typical day might include the following:  

• Owns one discipline/technology/process in conjunction with SEL strategic objectives, ensuring that cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

  
  

• Owns portfolio planning and long-term strategy.

  
  

• Leads and develops multiple supervisors and individual contributors to meet the goals of the department.

  
  

• Leads and presents at large internal or external meetings/forums.

  
  

• Uses extensive knowledge of technical principles to forecast new technologies and provide technical direction.

  
  

• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  
  

This job might be for you if you have: 

• B.S. in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience

  
  

• 14+ years of related engineering and management experience

  
  

• Strong technical expertise in multiple engineering disciples/technologies

  
  

• Proven ability to lead the design/support of successful products/processes

  
  

• Ability to manage complex product line/process problems requiring creativity and ingenuity

  
  

• Proven ability and strong desire to develop employees and lead projects

  
  

• Ability to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems

  
  

• Ability to exercise latitude when determining and initiating work assignments

  
  

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

  
  

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

  
  

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
