Role purpose

This role is located in Tainan, Taiwan, and is responsible for providing administrative support to IELTS Test Centre Administrator and Test Centre Manager in accordance with IELTS regulations and IDP policies. Strict adherence to test security and administration requirements is an essential part of the job.




Key responsibilities

Customer Service-


  • Ensure all test candidates receive exemplary customer experience at every contact point before, during and after sitting the IELTS test.
  • Ensure all staff involved in testing are culturally sensitive.
  • Provide clear, comprehensive advice to general enquirers.

Quality-


  • Ensure both test centres and off-site testing operations are managed within the IELTS operating procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all IELTS manuals.
  • Assist the Test Centre Administrator / Manager in adhering to relevant policy and procedure of all Examiner Trainers and Examiners.
  • Work in a professional manner with stakeholders and in accordance with IDP values.
  • Monitor all current contracts to ensure terms are adhered to.

Client Management-


  • Assist in the stakeholder management to maintain stakeholder satisfaction and integrity of the test.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders both internal and external ensuring that all business outcomes are satisfactorily met
  • Promote IELTS services through school visits.
  • Keep all local communication medium of IELTS related news/information up to date and inform team and manager of the same.

Support pre-test, on test day and post-test related activities-


  • Pre-test: Exam preparation; Preparing the Exam venue; Conduct pre-test briefing.
  • During the Exam: Supervise the end to end exam activities; Dealing with queries, test day incidents and any misconduct occurrences and ensuring that IELTS policies and procedures are adhered to; Recording all absentees on the seating plan.
  • Finishing an Exam : Conducting an orderly and efficient end of exam related activities, for example, collect test materials, signing off, inventory control, exit of candidates etc.
  • Post Exam : Organize all aspects of post-test materials handling and follow up activities, for example, prepare exam outcome and post exam results to students.
  • Any other ad hoc activities. 


Required experience
  • 2+ years of work experience (Customer Services a plus).
  • Prior English Testing experience (Plus)
  • Fluent in English (Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening)
  • Sound IT skills – Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable towards work schedule (e.g. early start and weekend rota).
