Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chemical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The Chemical Analyst will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting research and development, and contributing to continuous process improvement.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform chemical, physical, and instrumental analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Conduct routine laboratory testing using analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, Vis-a-vis Phototypesetter, FTIR, ICP, pH meter, conductivity meter, and titration equipment.
  • Interpret and document analytical results accurately and prepare laboratory reports.
  • Ensure all testing complies with established SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Calibrate, verify, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) test results and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Maintain laboratory records, logbooks, and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, or other applicable quality systems.
  • Monitor laboratory inventory and coordinate procurement of chemicals, reagents, standards, and consumables.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in accordance with HSE requirements. 
  • Participate in method validation, verification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support production, quality assurance, R&D, and regulatory teams by providing timely analytical data.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
