Job description

  • Supervise the daily operations of the community center.
  • Lead, schedule, and oversee front-line staff, attendants, and volunteers.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Coordinate community programs, recreational activities, workshops, and special events.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and performance.
  • Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Manage bookings for halls, meeting rooms, sports facilities, and community events.
  • Maintain records, reports, and operational documentation.
  • Monitor inventory and arrange procurement of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control for center operations.
  • Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and community groups to promote programs.
  • Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and regulations. 


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Recreation Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a community center, recreation facility, hospitality, or customer service environment.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating events is preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
