Our client, a leading agricultural and dairy production company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Dairy Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of dairy processing equipment and production systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality dairy manufacturing processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of dairy processing equipment, utilities, and production systems, with experience in the agricultural or food manufacturing sector.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot dairy processing equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
  
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for dairy processing machinery.
  
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  
• Support the installation, commissioning, and validation of new processing equipment and production lines.
  
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
  
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.
  
• Monitor utilities including refrigeration, steam boilers, chilled water systems, compressed air, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems.
  
• Develop maintenance schedules, SOPs, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and spare parts procurement.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement, automation, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Dairy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in dairy manufacturing, dairy processing, or food production engineering.
  
• Experience working in a dairy processing plant, milk production facility, or agricultural manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of dairy processing technologies and production systems.
  
• Experience with:

  • CIP Systems
    
  • Refrigeration Systems

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• NEBOSH or IOSH (advantageous)
