Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer (Client) to oversee and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems across our operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company policies, and international HSE standards while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
· Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, ADNOC requirements (if applicable), and international standards.
· Conduct workplace inspections, audits, safety observations, and risk assessments (JSA/JHA).
· Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
· Monitor PTW, LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, work at height, and lifting operations.
· Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
· Ensure proper use of PPE.
· Monitor environmental compliance and emergency preparedness.
· Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and statistics.
· Coordinate emergency drills and liaise with clients and authorities.
· Promote a positive safety culture.
· Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, or related discipline).
· Minimum 4 years of relevant HSE Engineering experience in construction.
· UAE experience is mandatory.
· NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
· ADOSH/OSHAD Practitioner Certification – mandatory (or eligibility to obtain, if applicable).
· Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
· Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Excellent communication, leadership, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits.
· Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
