About Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment:

Established under Law No. (11) of 2022, Rashid and Latifa Schools (RLS) is a unified educational institution that brings together Latifa School for Girls (founded in 1982) and Rashid School for Boys (founded in 1986). Both schools were originally created by Royal Decree of the late Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with the vision of delivering world-class education to Emiratis and expatriates alike. As two of Dubai’s oldest and most prestigious schools, RLS has educated generations of leaders and influential figures, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Women’s Establishment, and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture. Today, RLS continues this legacy as a modern, integrated institution, dedicated to nurturing excellence and preparing future generations of leaders.

·Provide frontline technical support to staff and students across devices, including laptops, iPads, printers, smartboards, phones and AV systems

·Resolve helpdesk requests efficiently to minimise disruption and downtime

·Install, configure, test and support hardware, software and school‑specific applications

·Manage user accounts and access via Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Group Policies

·Support SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams environments

·Set up and support AV and IT requirements for meetings, events and school activities

·Manage BYOD and mobile devices using MDM solutions

·Support VOIP telephony, CCTV systems and school ERP platforms (e.g. GRP)

·Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of staff and students

·Monitor, maintain and escalate issues related to print management services

·Track IT and AV assets, including inventory updates and secure equipment disposal

·Provide cover and support for IT colleagues as required

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

·2–4 years’ experience in an IT support role, ideally within an educational or international environment

·Strong hands‑on experience with user support, system installation and troubleshooting

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

·Supporting AV systems in schools or similar environments

·Exposure to school ERP platforms (e.g. Engage, GRP)

·Understanding of safeguarding, data protection and IT security practices

·Experience working in a bilingual or international setting
