Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the upholstery team.
Read and interpret production drawings, specifications, and work orders.
Plan and allocate work to upholsterers based on project priorities and deadlines.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications.
Train, mentor, and evaluate upholstery staff to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
Ensure the correct use of materials, tools, machinery, and equipment.
Monitor material consumption and minimize waste.
Coordinate with production, carpentry, metal, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and enforce health and safety regulations.
Report daily production progress, delays, and manpower requirements to management.
Assist in solving production issues and implementing process improvements.
Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Minimum 5 years of experience in upholstery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques for sofas, chairs, headboards, wall panels, and custom furniture.
Can speak English
