We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join a busy and forward-thinking workshop environment in the United Kingdom. This role is ideal for an advanced automotive professional with exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding abilities who can lead by example, support colleagues and ensure all work is completed to the highest technical standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and complex repairs to a consistently high standard

• Identify and resolve technical faults efficiently using structured diagnostic processes and root cause analysis

• Complete repair work in line with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards

• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, apprentices, and workshop colleagues

• Assist workshop management with technical issues, repair planning, and quality control

• Communicate effectively with workshop management regarding additional repair requirements and technical concerns

• Support customer-facing technical discussions when required

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through manufacturer training, supplier courses, and industry developments

• Ensure all workshop equipment, tools, and diagnostic systems are used correctly and safely

• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment

• Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve workshop productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

• Support workshop leadership and operational requirements when required

• Complete all documentation accurately, including job cards, technical reports, vehicle health checks, and quality control records

• Operate company vehicles responsibly and report any defects or concerns promptly

• Carry out additional duties appropriate to the position as required
