Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute a network strategy that is in conformity with the short and long term business strategy.
  • 2nd level of communication to resolve users issues and escalates to Dubai Technology Team.
  • Ensure that requirements and priorities are properly defined and are in line with business needs.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to exploit them for business advantage.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and implementation plans.
  • Identify right partnerships and do contract negotiations.
  • Identify consultancy needs and facilitate knowledge transfer consultants to technology staff.
  • Develop, administer and control annual budgets and resource plans.
  • Monitor projects to design, test and implement systems / applications.
  • Assign, direct and check the work of systems engineers and system support staff to ensure that business solutions are achieved.
  • Provide technical direction to the staff to ensure that standards and procedures are followed.
  • Evaluate performance of subordinates' team members, make compensation and bonus decisions, hire and fire employees.
  • Coordinate technical activities with internal support groups to facilitate resolution of user problems.
