We are looking for a MEP Quality Engineer to join our team in Riyadh and be part of one of Saudi Arabia's giga projects


SUMMARY:

The MEP Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations meet the highest quality standards, project specifications, and local/international codes. This role bridges the gap between on-site execution, material approvals, and final handover.



RESPONSABILITY:

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works.
  • Review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate WIRs, MIRs, inspections, and testing with the Consultant/PMC.
  • Ensure MEP installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, and quality standards.
  • Raise, monitor, and close NCRs, observations, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and quality reports.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP works for large-scale building, infrastructure, or public realm projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards, Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASME, ASTM, NFPA, IEC, and project specifications.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing PQP, ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submittals, WIRs/MIRs, NCRs, and commissioning documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates available for immediate joining or mobilization will be given preference.
