This is a full-time, on-site role for a Composite Design Engineer located in the UAE. The engineer will be responsible for designing composite materials and structures, developing and implementing mechanical designs, creating product designs and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Day-to-day tasks will include conceptualizing new designs, conducting stress analyses, collaborating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring that designs meet project requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Surface modeling of composite tooling in Siemens NX12.
• Design of alloy and composite (GFRC, UHPC, CFRP, GFRP) mechanical parts.
• Design of plugs and molds from CAD parts .
• Production of part assemblies in Siemens NX12, including DOF and cinematics definition.
• Designing parts for water jet and CNC cutting.
• Follow up on the implementation of the engineering designs into the production lines, including but not limited:

1. Composite lamination sheet sequence definition when required
2. Production process definition when required
3. Issuance of guidance drawings
4. Ensures that CAD structure tree is set properly by other design engineers
5. Provides support to other design engineers on advanced NX12 functions, including: assembly cinematics and DOF, parts surface modeling, mesh modeling
