Role Title: Agentic AI Expert

micro1 is engaging Agentic AI Experts to contribute to a customer’s project focused on advancing agentic AI workflows within technical environments. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Scope of Work

  1. Utilize autonomous AI coding agents to execute and document complex software engineering and technical workflows.
  2. Plan, implement, debug, and refactor code in collaboration with AI agents, providing clear rationale and detailed feedback on outcomes.
  3. Evaluate AI-generated code, identifying errors, hallucinations, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Compare outputs across multiple AI systems and document findings related to reasoning quality and coding performance.
  5. Draft best practices and process documentation for effective AI agent workflows, emphasizing clarity in communication and reproducibility.
  6. Deliver practical feedback on agentic development environments, including coding assistants and automation tools.
  7. Participate in practical exercises to demonstrate hands-on familiarity with AI-powered technical tasks relevant to modern workflows.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated proficiency delegating multi-step technical tasks to AI systems and iteratively refining results.
  2. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, AI collaboration patterns, and evaluation of AI-generated outputs.
  3. Background in software engineering, DevOps, data science, ML engineering, or technical automation.
  4. Familiarity with agentic development environments and leading AI coding assistants (e.g., Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, etc.).
  5. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, particularly in documenting workflows and providing actionable feedback.
  6. Experience comparing, experimenting with, or reviewing multiple AI-powered development tools and systems.
